[ Warren Haynes X Asheville City SC ] City Cord

The City Cord captures Asheville’s creative spirit through a blend of soccer tradition and musical heritage. “Asheville” is embroidered across the front in a groovy navy script inspired by the psychedelic aesthetics of the 1960s, while a contrasting light blue cord above the brim nods to the club’s signature colors. Completing the design is the phrase “The Blues Are The Roots,” embroidered above the adjustable backstrap. The saying references Asheville City SC’s nickname, The Blues, while honoring Willie Dixon’s influential quote, “The Blues Are The Roots, and the other music are the fruits,” a sentiment that has shaped Warren Haynes’ approach to music throughout his career. Finished with the club crest on the side panel, the 100% premium corduroy City Cord celebrates two Asheville institutions connected through community, culture, and the enduring influence of the blues.
